Of course, the question then becomes, when will The Little Couple return again with new episodes? Viewers are always vocal about how the seasons feel too short, and they want more of Jen, Bill, Will, and Zoey. While some reality television shows seem to go on and on with new shows throughout much of the year, the Arnold and Klein family is following a different path. Fans understand, but that doesn’t mean they don’t wish they could get more.

The Little Couple has aired consistently on TLC since May 2. The show followed Jen and Bill through their newlywed days, across the ocean to China as they adopted Will, and then again to India as they adopted Zoey.

As viewers know, Bill and Jen were hit with a difficult challenge when Arnold was diagnosed with cancer right after adopting Zoey. Luckily, Jen was able to conquer the cancer, and she has been doing well since then. However, Bill then had to go through a very difficult back surgery that made for a long recovery. It was after this second adoption, the cancer fight, and the back surgery that the filming and broadcast schedule seemed to shift a bit for the Little Couple family. Little Couple ratings have been consistent and strong, so there is little doubt that TLC will be anxious to bring the show back whenever and however they can. Last season, viewers got new episodes featuring Jen, Bill, Will, and Zoey from December into January, then again from late May through June. In this current season, new shows began in January and are wrapping up now in early March.
Viewers have grown pretty accustomed to having new episodes of The Little Couple on during the late spring or throughout the summer, but it is not known quite yet if that is what everybody can expect this year as well, given the slight shift in schedule for this current set of Jen and Bill’s show compared to previous years. Heading into this current season, Bill and Jen marveled over how everybody was happy and healthy and the family was in a great place, as People shared in their sneak peeks for the new episodes. While that kind of situation, having everybody happy and healthy, could be the kiss of death for some shows, that certainly isn’t the case for Little Couple fans.
Arnold and Klein may have decided to cut down a bit on how much of their lives they will film for the TLC show, or at least that is the impression fans have now with the past couple of seasons. However, it sounds as if Klein and Arnold know their viewers cannot get enough of them, and they are aiming to find a happy medium in continuing the show without letting it dominate their lives. Fans will have to wait a bit to see when the series will begin again, it seems, especially since TLC rarely releases premiere dates very far ahead of time.
However, it does sound as if Dr. Jennifer Arnold, Bill Klein, Will, and Zoey are planning to continue on with The Little Couple, and hopefully, new episodes will begin again soon. Update: According to Deadline, a heated battle has broken out between the production company behind The Little Couple and Discovery, the network that owns TLC where the show airs. Accusations are flying and from the sounds of things, Jen and Bill’s show, along with a handful of others, will be shelved until this legal matter can be resolved. The good news would seemingly be that the show is still active, but it sounds as if nothing new will be airing anytime soon as the entities involved battle against one another.
